CNC Machining

CNC MACHINING

CNC machining is a metal machining process that uses computer guided systems to work on metal pieces and parts. The “CNC” stands for Computer Numerical Control. A code is created based on a 2D or 3D drawing. This code is the language that the computer understands and it’s what allows it to work on the metal with such precision. For complex shapes and jobs where precision is very important, CNC machining is one of the best options. At Precision Waterjet Concepts, we offer advanced CNC machining services because we know that sometimes this is a better option for certain applications than waterjet cutting. It’s also a service that many of our customers need, so we make it easy for them by giving them another quality in-house service.

GET PRECISION AND QUALITY

Our team of experienced craftsmen works carefully to match our technology with your design needs and material requirements from beginning to end. Our machining services are available for products up to 50" x 26" x 25". We work in close partnership with industry leaders in the CNC machining field who can help you put the finishing touches on products that exceed those dimensions. As is the case with our waterjet cutting services, you can count on our machining processes to meet the highest standards of efficiency and quality. Our machining service is just one of the many reasons why Precision Waterjet Concepts is your full service water jet cutting and metal fabrication solutions provider.
We take pride in being able to provide the most economical milling methods for your parts.

IN-HOUSE MACHINING COMES STANDARD.

Not all waterjet cutting companies can also offer parts machining. Precision Waterjet Concepts can machine products up to 50" x 26" x 25". The materials we machine are the same as materials processed by machining shops.
Our machining center can handle tapping, drilling, counter sinking and other processes that are more efficiently done here than on our waterjet machines. Our Haas center provides finishing operations on waterjet cut parts.
If necessary, we have close access to machining processes on parts too large for our machinery.

No Mechanical Stresses

  •  Waterjet machining does not introduce any stresses into the material.

About Us

Precision Waterjet Concepts was founded in 2002 in a small facility with one fully integrated 5 axis cutting system. As our client base grew, we began to expand our capabilities and we quickly had to move into a much larger facility with more employees. It wasn’t long before we began to offer 2 axis waterjet services and 3 axis waterjet services for our customers so that we could continue to meet their needs efficiently. Over time we added CNC machining services, as well as an Amada press brake with Mig and Tig welding capabilities. Not long after, we saw a demand among our customers, and we stepped up with four fully integrated 5-axis waterjet cutting systems and one 3 Axis and three 2 Axis—to enable us to perform more jobs. Today we occupy a huge state-of-the-art facility in Minnesota and in Texas so we can serve clients across the country.
